Ria began her career in the financial services industry while attending the University of Central Florida. With zero experience or even an advertised job opening, she flipped the Yellow Pages (yep, close to carbon dating here) and called the first firm listed to ask if she could intern; aka work for free. After the interview she was offered a paid position. Upon graduating with her B.S. in Business, she spent a year overseas where she gained invaluable lifelong lessons that she still draws upon today.

Through the years, she held various roles within the brokerage world. Her last role as Director of Practice Management within one of the country’s largest network of Independent Broker-Dealers allowed her to focus on what she always loved best about the industry: the business side of it. She created a Practice Management offering from the ground up, serving close to 500 advisors. Having started in Operations/Admin and spending almost a decade as a Financial Advisor with a wirehouse firm to working inhouse at a boutique B/D gives her a unique 360 degree view of what it takes to run a thriving practice. She maintains her Series 7, Series 66 and Insurance licenses.

Ria is a purpose-driven professional who inspires others to channel their passion and create the outcome they seek. She provides consulting to coaching in the areas of business development, human capital, operational efficiency, business management and succession planning. She sees the opportunity for more valuable advice to be delivered by caring, knowledgeable professionals and wants to advance that cause. In working with advisors who are passionate about the profession, Ria's end goal of a deeper impact to our world is compounded by their mission.

When Ria is not advancing the profession, you can find her enjoying time with her family and friends, traveling, or seeking food and wine. Her love for yoga allows her to be her best so she can give her best. Last, but not the least, her heart is complete when volunteering for a variety of community organizations.
